Kids Korner is an exciting opportunity for K-6 school-aged children. It’s been a staple of the community for over 27 years!

- Unique opportunities like swim lessons and special interest clubs! Homework help is always available!
- Kids Korner childcare facility is licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS).
- $85 a week or $17 per day. (CCR&R is accepted.)
- A child rides the school bus from ANY Carbondale Elementary School. Special bussing made available from St. Andrews and Unity Point available.
- Dates coincide with Carbondale Elementary School District #95 School Calendar.
- A full day of care (includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks) is available on most school holidays or weather emergency days off. (Full day care is only available to kids enrolled in at least two days a week.)
CCR&R
The Carbondale Park District accepts assistance from Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R). CCR&R provides working and full-time student parents assistance with child care. This can assist with Kids Korner Daycare programs, only. It is your responsibility to contact CCR&R and get the proper paperwork turned in to them.If you have any questions about the CCR&R program or Kids Korner Daycare, please reach out to our Superintendent of Childcare at kburns@carbondaleparkdistrict.com
