Park History

This is one of the jewels of the Carbondale Park District. The stately Lodge with its acreage of lush landscaping highlights the four seasons we enjoy here in Southern Illinois and provides a quiet, outdoor setting for walking, picnicking, and leisure activities. Office visits by appointment only.

Park Operations Headquarters

This building and its grounds are the home for our operations staff team and our mechanical equipment. This facility is not open to the public. (108 N. Williams Street)
